Arson on Muirfield Park yesterday (4th of February 2021). Second such incident this year sadly. The damage below the tower is thankfully superficial and did not spread.
Gedling Borough Council have informed us that it will take about a month to repair due to cold temperature and wet weather preventing the works being carried out.
Cllr Thorpe and alongside someone from Gedling have tidied up the mess this morning so it is safe for children to use.
St Albans Parish Council will work with others where possible to try and tackle these incidents.
