Parish Council Reorganisation
Following a Community Governance Reorganisation Order, the former St. Albans Parish Council has been abolished and replaced by two new parish councils: the new St. Albans Parish Council and Deer Park Parish Council.
This change means that the original St. Albans Parish Council no longer exists as a legal body and no longer makes decisions, holds meetings, or provides parish council services. Responsibility for local parish council matters has transferred to the two new councils, each serving its own area.
Residents should now contact the appropriate new parish council for information about meetings, local services, planning comments, finances, grants, community facilities, and other parish council business.
Thsi website website for the former council will remain available for a period as an archive, so that residents can still access historic documents such as agendas, minutes, notices, accounts, and other public records from before the reorganisation.
