The Zipwire on the park has been damaged, with the cable being stretched possibly due to overloading. The Parish Council reported this to Gedling Borough Council yesterday.
Terry Ball, Operations Manager for Parks & Street Care, has promptly responded that the replacement parts have been ordered but could take between 4-6 weeks to be delivered. For safety reasons the seat and chain have been removed.
The Council has also received an update regarding the lighting on the park. Western Power is expected to fit the supply to them on the 6th of May.
